Speaking of snake oil....Has anyone heard of this company: Mona Vie? I was given a bottle of their "natural juices"; it's a mix of various juices that are supposed to have some great ingredients for things like joint pain, etc. I'm all about taking a multi-vitamin, but am always leary of the whole, "Drink this every day and it will make you better" thing.
The lady who gave it to me to try (what the heck, I'll taste it; I like juice) has a brother who has been in it for a few years, and she is considering joining also. How do you politely tell someone that's obviously already "sold" that she's making a big mistake. Also, her daughter and my daughter, both in Kindergarten, are in the same class and are best buddies, so I don't want to be rude and feel I need to tread lightly.
