I'm saying that none of us is omniscient. There will always be things
about which we are ignorant. And if the pitch is compelling enough,
we will take the bait even when something inside us tells us to beware.
I think you may be right about assuming Will's persona on-screen is
anything like his private one.
You had plenty of good sense when you joined Scientology - just not
about Scientology. If that's some kind of an offense, then it's one
that should be easily forgiven. Just as we should forgive ourselves
for our involvement in MLM.
