MLM is on shows often there is a "King of Queens" episode with the
water filters.
Even the Simpsons had an Amway reference. Anyone remember when
Gil was an Amway rep? I have the text at the bottom.
Lindsey: And that's when you realized you were an alcoholic?
Gil: Oh, no, I never touch the stuff. But you don't have
to be drunk to know the value of Amway. [the AA
members gasp, and Gil holds up a small jar] Now,
this is used crankcase oil, [spills it on the floor]
which you ladies know is murder to clean up, you
know. And company's coming -- [two men pick up Gil
and carry him out the door] Aw, you're doing this at
the worst possible time. [offscreen] Ow, you're
finger's in my eye!
Mr burns once said
"The days of charging a dollar for energy that costs us a nickel are
almost over. Soon,
dozens of entrepreneurial rapscallions will be swarming over our
local power monopoly,
forcing us to compete for every kilowatt at prices that make Amway
look honest.
