RE: [MLM Survivors Club] Re: Still shocked!

It's not that baffling. People are lonely. People want to feel like they're
part of something. People want more out of life than what they have or what
they see they can attain through their job. A lot of people are unhappy in
their jobs, feel their freedom is limited. Most people want or really need
more money. These opportunities seem to offer a way out. They pump people
up, ask them to "start dreaming again" make promises of all the things most
of us want - more opportunity, more money, more freedom - the ability to
spend more time with family, do more for the people/causes you care about.
Anyone could be attracted by that and if you're usually in an environment
that's not that encouraging - many jobs aren't - and you're "broke" - it
feels pretty good to start hearing encouraging words like "you can do this,
unlock the potential inside you, don't give up" etc. etc. and plus theirs
tons of people around you all being positive and offering support? They tell
you your family and friends who are skeptical are "negative" and "dream
stealers" believe me, it's not that baffling that anyone can get sucked in.
Turn on the news. It's so depressing. People want a way out. They want
something to hope for. It's easy to be lost in this world.
