I know I used to think it was easy to spot a scam and all that. Then
I started reading about these MLM's and I realize now that I knew
people in these MLM's and didn't even know it. Mary Kay, Party Lite,
and Mary Kay. I have learned a ton since I joined this group and now
I know that the people that join these are not suckers or can't do the
math. These groups prey on people's hopes and dreams. People that
want to be free of a job, or help family back home.
I once went to the "Celebrity Conference" with the same person that
is in MA and I went there knowing they were out scamming, But as I
sat there I remember thinking "Hey that sounds good". Of course then
they get to the $3,000+ to start and I remembered, "ohhh yeah, scam"
so I left in the middle of it.
Now I stop to watch a few minutes of infomercials when I am flipping
the channels and later on check them out on-line and see what they are
all about for future reference. Just in case she sees one and wants to
check it out.
Like I have said, I have learned a lot about the MLM companies on
other
sites, and learned all about the thought processes, mentality of the
victims
of these companies. I see the changes in my friend and she really,
really
believes she owns her own business. I hope soon she will realize what
she has gotten into and will snap out of it. I will just ask her a
question here
and there and see what happens.
