Okay, I was hoping that this would just be a quick comment that would
be read and left alone. There are lots of things in life that remind
me of the Amway/Quixtar scam, but that does not mean that all those
topics should all be posted on this board.
It is also true that AmQuix leaders often use political and religious
speech as a means to keep people involved in the business and to raise
money for causes they (the leaders) believe in, whether or not those
convictions are shared by their downline.
But in the interests of keeping harmony on this board, it's really
important that we stick to the issue of MLMs. We have members here
who come from a variety of backgrounds, just as MLMs do, but we do not
promote a lock-step mentality. Bringing up divisive topics has caused
messy arguments here before, and I am hopeful that we can mostly leave
this one alone, as far as this group is concerned.
Yahoo Groups does not offer the luxury of an "Anything Goes" or
"Politics" area of their groups, so we do not have the ability to
stray very far from the main topic of discussion.
So whether or not you agree with Jim's comments, we should probably
just let it be. It is neither an endorsement nor a condemnation of
Jim's thoughts. It is strictly an effort to keep us on-topic.
Thanks.
