I think it's more than that??? In Amway's first announcement of
Orrin's firing, they mention his business practices are in violation
of FTC rules for MLMs - and after Amway in the UK and Ireland was shut
down for unlawful practices (as taught by the residing AMOs) - I
suspect the Corporation has been especially sensitive to the thought
that the FTC may investigate their practices in the USA???
By canning the worst violator - the guy who was thumbing his nose at
Ada and doesn't have a strong overseas presence - they're hopefully
sending a message to the remaining Kingpins that they intend to
enforce their Rules???
Sadly, Dick DV will forever be tied to the '90's - the HEYDAY of the
Kingpins. Can't erase history. And in light of these new
developments - the obvious question for Dick would be: "why didn't YOU
have the backbone (that's not really the word I wanted to use, but
it's more "polite") to take a stand against the Kingpins and their
abuse???

After he lost the last election, I believe that Dick feels he needed
to try to clean up Amway's reputation in Michigan.
