This is purely my opinion:

true Leadership Development Organizations don't Deify their leaders.
Nobody "worships" Dale Carnegie.

And in the case of TEAM, I've hear rumors that their Amway Product
Volume was actually kind of low - the implication being that their
Tool-and-Function Income ratio was pretty high??? They are also
predominantly a N American group (in other words, probably Amway's
weakest market??) A logical place for Amway to make a stand against
deceptive teachings.

Most of these Motivational groups don't really impart much actual
Business Education anyway - the average function is a lot of rahrah,
with huge doses of personal success stories (which all seem to follow
the same script: Iwusbroke/IfoundthisAMO/Iamstinkingrich. Wife gets
on stage with Ihadtowork/hefoundthisAMO/Iquitwork/heismyhero).

Also, most of these AMOs are scarily close to being illegal pyramids
when there is no "product" to sell.

So I'm guessing that TEAM will reform under some other MLM - can't
imagine how they'll explain that the "Greatest Opportunity On Earth"
(Amway) that they promoted for YEARS is now such an "awful"
business??? But I've learned NEVER to underestimate what a
charismatic slimeball can do......
