I may not weigh in on everything that is posted here, but I still
lvoe this group. Anytime I feel emotionally compelled to fall back
into my MLM addiction, I come here and read posts. I've tried many
MLMs over and over and they have all turned out the same.
Here's my latest...
There's a Usborne books girl on one of my other groups. She's always
sending out messages about joining Usborne Books. I am often tempted
for these "reasons". 1. I now have a son and I think reading books
is very important. 2. I'd love to have a "resource" for getting
great kid's books at discount prices. 3. I'd love to have a
dedicated "fundraiser" for his education. 4. I like the idea of
sharing the love of reading with others.
But then I say...
1. It's an MLM. 2. If I want books, I can go to the bookstore,
join a Scholastic book club, go to the library, etc. 3. I opened a
Upromise account for his college education which will earn me money
without extra effort or buying "business supplies". I already have
$60 in his Upromise account and he's 11 weeks old. 4. If I lose $
in the MLM, I'd actully be taking money away from him... sort of.
So then instead of responding to her message, I just delete it from
my inbox...
Yippee for MLM addicts anonymous!!! (AKA this group)
