I'm sorry to hear that. Quackstar is downright evil, and I don't use
that word lightly (I've never even used it to describe bin Laden). It
takes good people turns them into IBDrones (drones called IBOs) so they
are helping the upslime take advantage of others and drive them into
debt without the IBDrones even realizing how much damage they're
causing.

Facts don't matter. Trust me on this. If you don't want to trust me, I
can tell you my story, but, in short, my ex-gf was extremely
intelligent and I thought one of the few things that could reach her
was solid Math. Nope. They start programming them from the beginning
by saying, "If you tell people about this, they'll tell you it won't
work. Why? Because they want to steal your success." You and I can
see the purpose of that statement. It inoculates them from the Truth
at the very start. It tells people, from their first introduction, to
ignore others and listen only to them. Thus the brainwashing starts.
>From then on, IBDrones don't listen to facts.

Here's a point: If I tell you something, you can doubt it and call it a
lie. If you figure something out, you know it to be true.

That statement is so important, go back and re-read it 3 or 4 times
before going on.

Seriously. Go back and re-read it: If I tell you something, you can
doubt it and call it a lie. If you figure something out, you know it
to be true.

It's THAT important!

No matter how many facts I can give you, if you don't want to believe
them, you won't. This is true, I've found, in about 99% of the
population. I'm stating that from life experience as well as working
in therapeutic settings for years. You can give them facts and figures
and numbers, but if they don't want to accept it, they'll dismiss it as
you "stealing their success."

Focus on questions. Get them to ask more and more questions. When they
can't answer them and go to their upslime, and the upslime says things
like, "Let me explain it," make sure they're around when you talk to
the upslime. Instead of answering your questions, they'll present "The
Plan" to you. If you want, I can tear it apart, but the point is they
will not answer many questions directly. Keep focusing on practical
issues and asking why questions can't be answered.

Here's one set of figures for an example. In the local group, they go
to conventions 4x a year. They have 5,000 - 8,000 people going, at
$100 each. I called up the local coliseum, which I found out is the
size of the one they go to for the small ones (I'm only doing one set
of numbers, and it's for the small groups here). Rental is $25,000 for
a weekend. Insurance, I've been told here, is about $5,000.
Advertising? It's done through voice mail. Convention workers? They
reward their downline by letting them work for free. All the dealers?
They pay fees for the tables. Now do the math. Let's go with only
6,000 IBDrones showing up. That's 6,000 IBDrones X $100, or $600,000
for the weekend. Yet they don't make a profit. Space is expensive, or
so they blindly and numbly repeat. Yep. It's about $30,000 for that
weekend, *including* insurance. Do the math. $600,000 less $30,000
for space. That's still over half a million, yes, that's right, over
$500,000, or more than half a million dollars in profit.

Oh, and it gets better (or worse). The IBDrones reserve rooms through
their upslime. Hotel rooms are the most expireable commodity in the
world. If it costs $15 to turn the room with maid and laundry service,
and the room rents for $40 a night, that's $25 profit, which would be
your goal. Yet if nobody checks in that night, you make nothing. If
you can rent it for $20 that night, there's a $5 profit. It's not
much, but if you have to pick between $5 profit and none, you'll take
it. A wise business person can call the hotel and say, "I'm booking a
a convention and need rooms, what kind of rate would you give me if I
can promise 100 of your rooms will be booked?" Often you can get rooms
for a big markdown. Let's go with only 25%. That means for each $50
room the downline IBDrones rent, the upslime makes $12.50. If they
have 250 rooms being rented, that's $3,125 in profit.

This gives you an idea of where the upslime profit comes from. Whatever
you do, don't give these figures to your friends. They'll see them,
find fault, figure you're stealing their success, and ignore you.
They'll also brand you as "negative," which means they won't listen to
you. Instead, use a lot of questions to bring this out. Things
like, "How much is the convention?" When they say $100 per IBDrone,
ask how many are going. When they give you a number, just, as if in
your head, multiply that and state the number. Then you can say
something like, "That's a lot of money. Are your leaders good business
people?" Of course they say yes, then ask, "How can they take in that
much and not make a profit?"

Use questions. Get them to think. Make them add up the numbers without
being too obvious.

I've just recently had my income jump to levels I've never seen before.
I'm also suddenly creating and managing a trust for my family that is
quite large by most people's standards. Money is *always* a problem.
It doesn't solve all problems. My income jumped several months ago,
and it's taken me until now to start getting my yard cleaned up and
yard work done. And, btw, my income is mostly residual, which is what
they expect to be getting. Even with that kind of income, you'd be
surprised all of the problems it creates. True, I'd rather have those
problems than the ones I had when I was starting my business and
couldn't pay the bills, but it does create problems. You never make
enough. Even if you don't go hog wild, you find more and more to do.
Fix this up, then find you've got money left, so fix that up. Then you
realize the car has problems that you've tolerated for years, so fix
that, and so on. There is never enough.

Yes. They are being brainwashed, and I am not using that term lightly.

> Anyway, what can I do to hopefully show them the light? Is there a

Questions. And if that doesn't work, then save yourself and get away.
I know that sounds cruel, but your friends are not your friends at this
point. They are under the influence of a cult. Get away and wait
months or years and when they get out, let them know you are their
friend and won't judge them for being brainwashed.

I wish there was a reliable way to fight this, but there isn't. We'll
help in whatever ways we can, though.
