I totally understand that a lot of the people in MLM's are really
good people. The people from PrimeAmerica were really nice at the
restaurant line. I was just turned off because the first thing the
guy said on my voicemail was that "he had something he wanted to
tell me about." I was expecting "hi Charlene it's me from the
restaurant, I was calling you about personal training." I wouldn't
have been mad if he said that first, cause then I would give him my
sales spiel, then I would have rejected his sales speil. What is
hilarious is that I knew they were going to call me and try to
recruit, from what MLM research says. That MLM'rs will do anything
to get a contact. Everyone is just a potential prospect. It
disgusts me... I think if he had tact he would have asked about
personal training and then hit me with the opportunity. I guess he
is just an innocent newbie trying to make it in the MLM world. I
don't want to call back because it will be annoying. He will
persist and persist, I bet you $1000. That is why I don't even want
to bother calling. Then he got his girl friend to call me, and
explain on my voicemail that she could help my mom with a job. And
what they do "helps families." I laughed because I heard it all
here before. I thank God that I researched MLM's and my husband was
already a victim of MLM, because if not I would have given these
people a chance especially my cousin. (I would have sold Zija,
Arbonne, Usana, and PrimeAmerica already) They probably think I am
rude, but who cares? I rather not talk to them than make them look
stupid when I question them about their actions like Hal explained.
I don't like drama, drama comes to me. Ugh!
