Oh wow...I so disagree with alot in this post. I come from the school of
thought that if someone rings my doorbell or calls my house, it doesn't mean
I have to answer. Its MY perogative. I decide if its convenient for me to
respond. I didn't sign any contracts stating that if someone left me a
message, I HAD to call them back. If someone is calling to sell me
something I don't want, didn't ask for...I feel in NO way obligated to provide
them closure.

I am a very vocal, assertive person....so I don't have any problems telling
someone "sorry, not interested EVER, please don't call here again". But not
everyone is assertive and to call all those folks rude and wusses....to
me...now that is just plain wrong IMO. Not to mention that about 85% of the
time that I put on my nice sweet "sorry not interested, please take my name
off your list".....I get someone rude who demands to know why I'm not
interested in living the good life (MLMers, Telemarketers, etc), the free trip,
etc. I can see why so many want to avoid the hassle all together.

Just my take on it.
