This is part of "Prosperity Theology". A theology that has converted
contemporary Christianity from one of practicing Christianity, to one
of practicing Materialism.
(It is doing to Protestant Christianity what Liberation Theology did
to the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church.)

CALLS"...I'm Catholic so I have no clue what those are, but
apparently this is where you are invited to come up on stage and
accept Jesus Christ as your savior.
That is what an "Alter Call" is. They do not belong in a business
setting. (They don't belong in a church either, but that is another
rant.)
>Is this typical of an MLM, or is this LTD just it's own special brand of crazy?
The only thing that might be atypical is the "altar call". Scamway is
the only major MLM where I've heard of that happening. There are a
couple of minor MLMs that have them at meetings.

Mormon theology implies that one has the divine right to be Rich.
The president of _The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints_
earns the position because of the income his businesses generate.
(If you are "poor", you will not rise in the church hierarchy, because
you are obviously not doing what the Lord expects of you.)

One? At least half of them --- including the replacement.
