This, to me, is what makes MLMs evil. We start with the king pins who
have an intent to make money off others. They don't care what damage
they do, how many families, lives, credit records, relationships they
ruin, as long as they're making money. Then they train innocent people
by telling them, "You'll get rich, but, even more, you're helping these
people," then they take that innocent person, train them to recruit
more people and now the innocent person, still believing they're
helping people, is now a weapon used to recruit and hurt more people.
When, if ever, that person leaves, they have been raped. I don't mean
in losing money, but because they have been used, with their
cooperation at some level, to rape others. When the innocent leave,
they realize that they have hurt people and bear a heavy load of guilt
even though they did not realize they were hurting people.

It is this aspect of turning innocents into weapons used to deceive and
hurt others that makes MLMs evil.
