Re: [MLM Survivors Club] Coworker involved with Quixtar.

Kyle,

This could be difficult. There are some additional things that may be at play here.

Your coworker most likely got into Quixtar via a deaf friend or family member. As a general rule (and there a lot of exceptions so bear with me) deaf do not trust things like this where hearing are concerned. You may be better off finding someone of influence in the deaf community and expressing your concerns to them and letting them tackle it.

My wife and I have been involved in the deaf community here for many years (our son is deaf and blind) and it can be a very very strong community so you would be better off getting help from it.

long. Just found out yesterday, when she wrote (said) that she was
taking a business trip to Ohio and showed me her business card. The
next day, she made your standard MLM pitch. She wants to show me a
copy of "Success" magazine and she wants me to watch the DVD. Another
guy and I told her that business is best done when you do it yourself
and don't have a puppet-master like Quixtar. She seemed to agree, but
I think that she may still be in it. I'm almost sure if it. Are
there any articles that one could show her about the pitfalls of MLM's
in general or Quixtar in particular?
