Re: [MLM Survivors Club] Contacting Members Directly (Academy Team 21)

Feel free to post his discussions back onlist if he is merely trying to isolate you and bog you down (trolling tactic).

Subject: [MLM Survivors Club] Contacting Members Directly (Academy Team 21)

I've been contacted directly by Academy Team 21 over some issues.

I resent this direct contact without checking with me if I minded
private chats. What he says is, to be honest, inane and pointless. He
ignores any points I make that he doesn't want to hear or that
contradict him or that challenge his views.

In short, he's a truly brainwashed IBDrone.

I'm burned out. August was a VERY bad month for me. I've had to deal
with several business and computer issues that have taken more time and
added more stress than usual. I am NOT in a mood to deal with this,
er, person (I am so proud I didn't call him what I wanted to) with the
patience and questioning and long term planning that we should use in
dealing with a drone.

I know I am not the only one he has contacted off-list.

Academy Team 21: You are rapidly making people *hate* you and making
them not want to listen to you.

We are, by the nature of this group, not interested in joining MLMs and
more than a little skeptical of them. All of us are here because we've
been hurt by an MLM or by a loved one in an MLM. You don't seem to
understand that and contacting people off list to continue your
arguments is not appropriate.

On my end, if I'm going to debate such topics, I want to do it on list
because I want others to be able to add their comments long the way. I
do not want to discuss such topics privately and you should have asked
me, as well as other members, if we were open to discussing these
things privately.

To the rest of the group: I have made a lot of friends on this group and
do get a lot of private emails from people here. I generally don't
mind off-list discussions and enjoy them. The difference is that
others have either asked me about chatting privately or their private
emails were much more appropriate (as in they weren't emailing me with
more crap supporting why their MLM was so good).

Academy Team 21: You are a good IBDrone. You do what you're told and
follow your uplines instructions and do what they tell you.
Unfortunately, that also means you are no longer thinking for yourself
and you are easily and quickly alienating people instead of making
friends or giving people reasons to want to connect with you.

Hal
