I'm going to make a prediction:
As much as you learn between now and the October function, you are
still going to be STUNNED by the mind-control techniques that come
into play. The manic "high"; the mandatory edification; the "Can't
WAIT for the doors to open so we can go in" attitude of the crowd....
the "love" and "excitement" seem contagious..... oh, and don't forget
The Dreams. And the part I call the Dog And Pony Show: where everyone
"wuz a broke loser and then they met their upline and hallejulia!!!!
they fill their swimming pool with Evian now".... and the wives
practically swoon over what a tremendous guy their husband is who
built this amazing business to take care of their family - see how
much he LOVES us????

It's ALL a carefully choreographed dance. All those people who LOVE
your wife will dump her like 3 week-old meatloaf if she questions
ANYTHING they teach her.

Another thing to watch for (that's going to help your cause):
Gendercentricity. Quite often, these functions cater to the MEN.
Those couples who meet some sort of specified goal for their business
find that the MEN get to gather for "inside business information"
while the Ladies get to go shopping. A "wife's place" is as a support
person for the Man Of The House. This REALLY ticked me off when *I*
was the one in the business (not my supportive husband, who, like you,
came along to keep me company)

And Good Lord - she's with TEAM????? That ought to be interesting,
since Amway/Quixtar has terminated all the major players, for running
their group in a manner contrary to Amway's Rules of Conduct. So at
the moment, the Kingpins truly Do Not receive any Product income - at
least not until they find a new patsy (um, MLM) to affiliate with.
It's my opinion that ALL the AMOs are slimy - it's just that TEAM was
the SLIMIEST.
