You are, IMHO, totally correct. In fact I think there is one more step
to this. People who were the most involved, worked the hardest put
themselves and their families through unbelievable stress may well
come out of it suffering from PTSD. One of the things we have learned
on the list I run for ex members of Scientology'
a lot of us ran into PTSD without ever realizing what it was until
much later.
