This is an extremely technical and arcane aspect of law. So much so
that it has be dumbed down for most lawyers. There is a long sequence
of steps that have to be correctly done in the proper sequence,
otherwise everything is voided out. If the case is voided out, you
probably are in worse shape than before you started the process.
