Primaleuca. After they got sucked into a bus ride to a sign em up
meeting...it was a way to laugh at themselves for falling for it (this was about
15 years ago too)
As far as whether or not Primerica offers decent insurance, to me is besides
the point. Its not even a matter of trusting a MLM to provide me with decent
products or services, its about choosing what I will and will not support with
my spending dollars.
I refuse to support in any way, shape or form a network marketing business.
My support, even if in the form of being a customer only, helps them to
mislead the masses and perpetuate this faulty business model.
Someone here once accused us here of being hypocrites because while we
had such disdain for MLMs, we all probably had SOMETHING in our house
that came from a MLM; candles, personal care, etc. But the truth is, I would
go without before I would buy ANYTHING distributed via the MLM model.
Aside from the moral standpoint, you CAN get any MLM product cheaper
elsewhere. MLM products, regardless of what the company purports are
typically much higher in price than their non MLM counterparts. Its the
nature of the beast.
