you starting this journey with a loved one. Don't let on how you

is quite difficult to bring them back.<<<
I don't think the issue really is hiding the fact that you don't like
the business. It's more of an issue of how you approach your son to
give them advice. Realize that they are trained to discard every
doubter of Quixtar as a negative dream stealer. You simply must give
them advice in a way that is not Quixtar related. Even parents or
loved ones advice can take a back seat because "why would you listen
to someone's advice when they don't have a financial interest in you."
If you give your kid business advice he will discard it because you
have no credibility in his Quixtar focused mindset. If he already
knows you disapprove of Quixtar that will just add to his thinking
that when you bring up Quixtar it is only to steal his dream. At the
time I was in, I never listened to my parents when they brought up
anything Quixtar related because I only took business advice from my
upline mentors.
I would suggest talking to your son about life goals in general. Be
open minded and ask general open-ended questions about different
career paths. Get his mind turning about what life would be like
without Quixtar. Ask him a theoretical question of what career paths
would he choose if Quixtar didn't exist. He will still listen to your
advice but not if you bring it up with a Quixtar focus.
People will usually quit because of one of the following reasons (or
most likely a combination)
1) Their upline mentor quits and they follow
2) They realize the lies in the system (income representation,
lifestyle representation, excessive tools income, twisting of Biblical
scriptures/religion
3) They are financially drained, their business doesn't grow, and they
are tired of losing money
4) They desire to do something other than Quixtar. This desire has to
grow enough to overcome the fear of being a "broke loser working a
worthless dead end job." That's where you can come in.
You cannot control #1. Becuase you are not his upline you have no
Quixtar or business credibility with your son you cannot talk about
the lies in the system (#2). I'm sure you have found this out
already. He probably tunes you out when you talk about Quixtar
because he thinks you are trying to bring these up.
He is already draining himself financially (#3). Just let this
continue. It's tough love but he will recover, it's not like he has a
lot to lose anyways (in terms of houses, cars, kids). You may also
ask him every now and then how much profit after expenses he made last
month or last year to keep him anchored in his financial reality.
As for #4, you can provide some major support here. Like I mentioned
before, people will stay in for a long time just for the fact that
leaving Quixtar is scary. He will ask himself questions like "what
would I do?" and "nothing can be as good as diamond." His upline
beats this into his head constantly. You can be the major crutch in
this area by telling him he can do other things and he will find
career paths that are fulfilling and financially rewarding. Empower
him to do other things. Everyone else in his social circle is
creating a fear of anything that isn't Quixtar.
>>> Thank your parents for the support they gave you. You are lucky
to have them.<<<
Thanks, I already have thanked them many times. I don't even think
they realize what they were doing most of the time. Most importantly
they just supported and loved me.
