If memory serves, the rumor was that Eric Scheibeler had left the
business because he was dying of cancer.
Some of them really believe that the facts don't count when the
dream's big enough. And many of them really over-blow their dreams.
(I can well imagine that it's a shame to them that Eric's still around
to expose their scam. Last I heard, he's doing fine.)
