There is plenty of controversy around this company and its products.
If you go to www.google.com and type in "isagenix+scam", you'll see
what people are saying about it.

I'm glad she's not seeking to make money at it. Odds are she won't.

As a customer, she might be okay. I don't know about the
effectiveness of Isegenix products or what any regulatory agency has
said about it. Just be sure that if she uses the product and gets
good results that they don't use her belief in the product as a
doorway to sucker her into becoming a rep. That is a tried and true
pattern of MLMs.

If she wants to become a rep, she'll need loads of information about
the health and wellness and diet industries. And she'll need to be
good at one-on-one sales. And she'll need to know which companies
(including, possibly, hers) are scams and WHY THEY ARE SCAMS - HOW
they scam people.

Only with all this information under her belt can she avoid becoming
another scammer in an industry that is rife with scammers.

But if she uses the products and gets the results she wants, who can
complain?

Hope this gets you started. All the best to you.
