Just remember. It's your money. If you wish to pay it out and get a return on it, by all means do so.
MLM is a business model that is a failure. This is the only answer you will get here. If you try to convince us otherwise, we will regard you as the exception (because you are) rather than the rule.
But again, it's your money. In two, three, six, twelve months from now, when your MLM has chewed you up and spat you out, feel free to return, as you will be in very good company. While there will be those who will say "We told you so", it is said in a spirit of understanding and companionship.
However it seems that you are not here seeking our advice.
For what it is worth, weekly cheques are very unusual, and for a return of $4k it implies that you have spent (turned over) $40k (or thereabouts)
