Hi All,
My name is Phil (yes, I know it says Paul in my profile but there is a reason for that) and I live about 35 miles due south of the original Edinburgh here in Scotland. When I am not running my own (legitamate) installation company I indulge in the rather seemingly childish 'sport' of ScamBaiting. As the majority of you are no doubt aware there is a severely high number of scam e-mails out there with the vast majority originating from west Africa. What myself and other baiters do is to engage the scammers in dialogue so that their time and resources are wasted on us rather than someone who might be vunerable. I will refrain from posting any links until I am sure it is acceptable for me to do so. Skype is a good place to hang around catching 'love scammers' but today I was approached by a Dutch girl who was trying to interest me in an MLM. It stank from the outset and while she insisted it wasn't a Pyramid, it quite clearly had all the hallmarks of one. So, as I always like
to arm myself with as much information about a subject as I can, I have spent a rather informative and enjoyable Saturday afternoon researching MLM's and that is how I found myself here. I would like to point out that I have no intention of 'baiting' any pro-MLMer or company unless I am asked to do so and even in saying that I am NOT advertising myself 'for hire'. While I am still wet behind the ears with regards to MLM, I can offer a wealth of knowledge on 419 Scams should anyone require it.
Hope this has made some sense!
Cheers,
Phil.
