Be very mindful of your friend being in arbonne. Was she/he going thru a hard time in her life when she joined? Arbonne found me when I was down and out with family issues and not able to make a wise business decision. I got the same schpeels that other folks have mentioned in their emails. I started asking a lot of questions and my upline just thought I was "being to short with them". After a month of support, that was all I got.
Arbonne also makes you buy $100 a month to get a pay check when they didn't used to before, that just started a couple of years ago. So you can't make money just buying the product any more. You also have to fight tooth and nail to get any refunds. I only got a portion of what I should have gotten back. Arbonne's products are so pricey, that you have to "mark down' to sell them. People from all walks of life would tell me that they are to expensive. The more I got into Arbonne, the more money I was loosing even when I used to use the products in my spa. Go figure. I've sold most of it now, and I still can't get rid of the last of some of those products.
I was also very close to getting audited by the government due to taxes with the losses. It varies from state to state as to where the cut off is with the losses and when you get audited. I was very close, whew, but made it.
I also felt that NTC was a total waste of time. It was just a huge rah rah and hype session and I felt I couldn't have my own mind and my own faith or be myself in that group. Found that out asking "to many questions". You had to just follow the system without questioning it and I felt like you had to be like everyone else. I just can't follow blindly. It was really like the "blind leading the blind".
