If you need any insight into Primerica please feel free to ask me.
My boyfriend got suckered into the company and I can tell you its
bad news.
Primerica is just like any other MLM. They sell inspirational tapes
and tell people to go to out of town meetings every two weeks. The
people at the top of the pyramid make thier money that way while
everyone else suffers.
These meetings have one purpose: to serve as rah-rah sessions for
the company. They discuss how stupid people are that work 9-5
jobs. They talk about how stupid people are to get college degrees
and the succesgul people in the company show pictures if thier
houses.
The worst part is the brainwashing. Primerica tells people that if
they do not succeed it is their own fault. They tell people not to
watch the news because it is negative. Maybe they don't want
people to hear about Primerca involved in a huge lawsuit with SES
since 1998. They tell recruits not to listen to negative people
(people that say bad things about the company). They insist that
the net is full of negative things about Primerica because their
rivals are trashing the company. Nobody worth anything criticizes
Primerica.
My boyfriend recently got another job (he lost over $100,000 working
for Primerica). He is trying to sign up for a 401K and he insists
that his former company would give him a better deal. He is looking
for reasons not to like the 401K. He has been brainwashed into
thinking that only Primerica has the best interest of the client at
heart. He tried to get me to transfer my IRA to a Primerica fund.
My IRA is currently making $400.00 a month. I have not seen his
statements but he told me at one point his IRA was worth $200,000.
He checked it online and it was $140,000. Nobody makes that kind of
mistake. He checked it again a couple of weeks ago and it was
$110,000.
Bottom line stay far away from this company.
