Robby didn't go into details on this, but I will. I can't remember how
to get to Yahoo's profiles, so I just searched Anthony's e-mail on
Yahoo and immediately found two answers to Yahoo questions, both
pushing VIA, an MLM product, with links to sites that made me think
s/he was a distributor. I'm ambiguous about gender since at least one
post was signed as Cheryl.
Then I Googled just the first part of the e-mail, albj72, and found a
number of links. It seems s/he does answer questions on Yahoo with
self promotions for Via. There is also a post by the same e-mail in a
forum on gas prices claiming to know a gas additive that will improve
gas mileage. Rather than give any info on the forum, s/he will give
out info to those that e-mail him/her.
As always, Robby is checking into things deeper than many people.
It's good to see you back, Robby. Hope the recovery from surgery goes
well!
And to Anthony/Cheryl: If you're here to first ask us if we know of
these companies, then when we say no, to try to convince us they're
different, well, that means you not only haven't read the rules, but
aren't that clever, since this is something people try at least once if
not several times a month. We know that trick, we're on to it, and we
don't take kindly to it because it's basically deceptive and rude.
If, on the other hand, you have genuine questions and are willing to
look deep into MLMs and see what is going on and realize that what they
claim is usually quite far from the truth, we'll be glad to help you
deal with that.
