[MLM Survivors Club] Re: What's the Raw Deal About The TEAM or Team of Destiny?

Greetings--

First, you have to realize how slick, organized, manipulative and
convincing the TEAM leadership is. If your friend is "on system," the
CDs tell you CONSTANTLY that your friends, family and co-workers will
tell you this business stinks because they are jealous and "want you
to get by, just not BY THEM." Pretty devious, eh? They tell you you
MUST be strong and ignore objections in order to ever achieve your
dreams.

Orrin Woodward has an entire CD called "Handling Objections" where he
makes you believe anyone who has any objection to Team's agenda is an
ignorant fool who is too lazy to be successful. Although he makes it
sound like he is mocking prospective IBOs, the more sinister
underlying message is that if you also have any of those doubts, you
are obviously too stupid to ever succeed and build a strong Team.

If your friend is not in too deep, it may not take too long to jolt
them back awake. I was only in about six weeks before I woke up. Ask
him what kind of product sales training he received. He will say
little or none. But, Team says they have great Content (from Dell's 3
C's speech, which Orren pimps to sell Team--your friend will light up
if you know about the 3 C's speech). Then ask, if Team is teaching
you to build a business selling products, why wouldn't they teach you
about the products--which are the CONTENT? The answer will be (from
his upline) "because we are in the PEOPLE business, not the PRODUCT
business." Can you profit without signing more people up? He may
think he can, but the Quixtar prices are so inflated that his 25%
rebate will NEVER make up the difference. So, in reality, you MUST
get others in below you or you will never make any money?

If he is brain washed enough to give you the standard Team-induced
answers, you will have to back off and go slow.
