When you look at the profit structure of an MLM and how many people get
a cut of the profit, it is almost impossible to even match the
supermarket pricing on items. It's just simple math. Think of it this
way: you buy an ear of corn from the local store. That corn came from
a farmer, was shipped to a warehouse, then shipped to the local store.
The farmer, the wholesaler with the warehouse, and the store all get a
cut. The shippers are likely included with the store and warehouse.
That's 3 people or companies making a profit, but each one ads to the
value of the product. The farmer makes it, the wholesaler handles
transport to get it to your city. The supermarket cleans the corn and
puts it on display where you can drive your car down the street and buy
it. Each one ads value to the product.
Compare that to an MLM. For example, my ex-girlfriend had at least 6
levels of people above her, and that is only the levels I knew about or
knew had to exist. There could have been more levels. I buy corn from
her (okay, probably not a perishable product, but this is just for
comparison). She gets a profit on it, and so do *SEVEN* other people
*PLUS* the farmer that grew it or the company that made it AND her.
That's at least *EIGHT*, count it, EIGHT levels of profit, plus
shipping has to be covered somewhere. Think of it. Buy from the store
and pay for 3 levels of profit, or buy from an MLM and pay for more
levels.
Ah, you might say, what if I buy from someone higher up, that's fewer
levels. Yes, but it doesn't make the price cheaper, and that price had
to allow for a number of different levels.
Conclusion: you will not often find MLM products for supermarket prices.
Some MLMs have deals where you can buy through websites of businesses
like Office Max, which means they get some profit, but that's a
different story. You're buying the same product and they don't get
much profit.

Most MLMs offer products that they convince you are good. Most of the
products are crap. Sorry to disagree and be so strong about it, but
independent experts rarely give MLM products good marks.
