Really appreciate all your efforts. I keep a file of some of the Nigerian/Burkina Faso letters, you know, where some poor German billionaire has been killed with all his family in an aircrash leaving wealth beyond the dreams etc, along with other get-rich-quick schemes and suspicious advertisements. When my boys are old enough (only 6 and 4 at the moment) it will form part of their necessary education!

When I got home this evening, I found that there had been about 25
spam messages waiting in the queue, most of them already deleted. But
one of them managed to get through to the board. Because it managed
to get through, everyone who subscribes by email to this group got it,
too.
I have deleted the (one) offending post and the replies to it. I wish
some of you would have a little more faith in your moderators before
responding to these messages. And if you're going to insist on
responding, please don't dignify a spam message by quoting it in your
response. It just allows more people to read it.
(I hope you realize that in being critical of the moderating of this
group, you have opened the door to receiving criticism of those who
cannot ignore the urge to feed trolls and spammers.)
I've just completed a challenging 4-concert set this weekend and
appreciate the assistance I get with moderating the group. No one is
here 24/7, and no one should be expected to be.
To those of you who saw the message as resisted, Thank you.
