I spoke to Pat Gregory on Monday, told him I used to be in IBS in John Lear's group, wanted to find out how the business was going and where John Lear was now. He said John Lear was 'no longer so active in the business'. Hmmm.
I also said that my husband had been quite neutral but had gone on line and found some negative stuff. 'Oh people write such rubbish. Did you know you can find negative stuff on Mother Teresa now?' He then put me in touch with one of his distributers who lives near me.
The guy used to be crossline from me and I've actually been to his house. Liked him a lot. Had a long conversation, still playing pretty dumb and came away convinced that the poor sod doesn't know what 's really going on. Still trying to work out how best to tell him. He must have been in for more than ten years now.
Did you know about this children's book by ex IBS Emerald Ruth Salway "Through rose-coloured glasses?' I've just ordered a copy.
