My Pollyana-ish view of it would be that if the biggest, most
formidable and best-politically-
abuses that will likely be exposed through the lawsuits that have
already started showing up, maybe there will be some sort of an
examination of the entire MLM industry, hopefully by competent
regulatory agencies. Maybe more stringent rules governing these
marketing schemes will be developed, and MLM, as we know it today,
will cease altogether.
Then those AMO kinpins would be FORCED to go get a job. And some of
them might even end up with new employment in jail, at a much lower
wage, for the crimes they've already committed.
After all, this group IS NOT the Amway/Quixtar Survivors Club. We
should be taking a more global view of the issue here.
If the *only* MLM impacted by all of this turmoil is AmQuix, then I
agree with you. I'd prefer that the company survive it and continue
as a non-MLM. There are too many other MLMs that would be positively
giddy to have some ex-A/Q "leaders," considering their ability to
erase undesirable episodes in history.
