Think of it as a drug like ecstacy: when the big bad world with its
overdue bills and housework and deadlines and traffic jams and crying
kids looms large....you just kick back with a tape, and you feel safe
and warm and loved and capable.....
Never mind that this "aura" is completely contrived (and most likely
designed to take your mind off the things that ARE important - like
unpaid bills)
There ARE some folks that I call "Motivational Junkies" - and they
seem to NEED/crave that hyped-up sense of excitement.
