Dear Dan N Kim :
It's hard to believe you could spend 50K on a dream and come up empty handed with a 'hit or miss' business. My wife and I also invested on this venture and kept it within a certain limit on how much to spend on this gamble. I first got into the MLM business in "80 with Amway and later with Primerica in "93 before Equinox in '95 so I gave MLM a more than a fair shot of making it work. Unless you get in on the ground floor, at the very start of the business, your odds of success are very small, no matter how much you invest in it. It took me over 17 years to realize this and the amount of stupidity I had in trying to buck the odds.
My wife and I had marketing experience and I figured we would make a killing in this industry, but MLM was a horse of a different color. Why would anyone buy inferior quality floor cleaner at triple the price from you neighbor when Spic N Span is cheaper and better in quality ?
I hope you can share in your experience with others who might venture into this VERY risky business and warn them of the consequences you suffered

Depending on what you were told a long time ago when you turned in your
documentation to be considered approved in your claim, you may have had $5000 in
expenses, while only a small part of that was considered allowable and
approved expenses.
My husband and I had over $50,000 in expenses while not all of that was
considered to be allowable and approved expenses.
Be lucky you only spent $5000.
It was an investment, and misled into it or not, I am happy to get any of it
back.
