Re: [MLM Survivors Club] Equinox settlement

Wow, I thought my family and I were some of the rare misguided....I
guess not....Ny stepmom and dad got into equinox, they (especially my
stepmom)wanted me to invest and start raking inn the doe?!...I
invested alright took out a loan on my 401 k and no expirience....oh
boy what a ride...for every bit of money you made you had to invest
back for products, tables, trainings, etc...why bother trying to make
money when you just have to invest back into the company as mentioned
before so others can make way more than you? Thank you for this
group, I got over it but there are still plenty of "work at home"
businesses that want to rip you off...no matter what they choose to
call it...

empty handed with a 'hit or miss' business. My wife and I also
invested on this venture and kept it within a certain limit on how
much to spend on this gamble. I first got into the MLM business
in "80 with Amway and later with Primerica in "93 before Equinox
in '95 so I gave MLM a more than a fair shot of making it work.
Unless you get in on the ground floor, at the very start of the
business, your odds of success are very small, no matter how much you
invest in it. It took me over 17 years to realize this and the amount
of stupidity I had in trying to buck the odds.

make a killing in this industry, but MLM was a horse of a different
color. Why would anyone buy inferior quality floor cleaner at triple
the price from you neighbor when Spic N Span is cheaper and better in
quality ?
