It's amazing how these con artists can get into our heads !
In the 17 yrs. I've tried to make it work I've seen a lot of smart, educated people;
really sharp and motivated and yet fall into the same trap as regular joes' like myself
and I found them to be just as dumb as I was in believing the same system.
The problem is that there's a mystique in the what I deem is 'unattainable' goals and
wealth. The holy Grail, the Golden Fleece. I really want to know what became of the Bill/Steve Gouldds, the Sherrie Sharmans and the Jeff Ammermans' of the MLM world? Where are they today? What going on in their minds. Right Now...
It's known that these "heavy hitters' are trained to recruit downlines at all costs.
I find it hard to imagine myself talking someone into taking out loans, borrowing, cashing
in retirement savings, refinancing, maxing out credit cards. And then they scold you for not
trying hard enough to succeed. Where does integrity end and cutthroat begin?
If your time is valueable then MLM is not for you and for most ppl. It took me a lot of years
to finally see the light but I never allowed myself to fall into that 'go for broke" mentality some ppl had. I'm glad you didn't dig too deep a hole, Christine. Some ppl take a few years to get over the financial and emotional trauma and the sometime destructive effects it
can have on families./friends.

boy what a ride...for every bit of money you made you had to invest
back for products, tables, trainings, etc...why bother trying to make
money when you just have to invest back into the company as mentioned
before so others can make way more than you? Thank you for this
group, I got over it but there are still plenty of "work at home"
businesses that want to rip you off...no matter what they choose to
call it...
