How much? If he made money in one and was doing well, why did he leave
it and go to another? If one is working as well as it's supposed to,
why leave it?

Again, what was wrong with the others that he left them? You have, in
essence, proved there is a problem with these since your grandfather
was not making enough to want to stay in.

Ah, so you've learned well, Grasshopper! You've learned to say exactly
what they want you to say.
Less than 99% of the people who go into an MLM make money. They'll lose
money. If you go to Vegas with a wad of money and bet it all over a
weekend, your odds of winning there are actually greater than the odds
of being successful in an MLM and making money with any regularity.
I've seen tables and research to back it up. (I know I'm not the only
one who has seen these -- link anyone?)
How can you say that a system that fails 99% of the time isn't the
problem?

Which is why you'll never get rich in an MLM.

Yes, some make a bit here and there, but if any of the ones your
grandfather was in were doing well, then would he have quit?
Enjoy your reality. It has nothing to do with the rest of the world, so
enjoy it while you can.

After you've spent thousands with each one.

Play the market instead. Especially now, when it's down. That's the
time to put the money in and you actually get documentation on what is
going on and can read up on how your money you invest is spent. You
can't do that with an MLM.
