I concur with Lauren on this issue as well. The majority of people
in MLMs believe in what they're doing. They're not intentionally
trying to scam anyone or make anyone lose money. I know I certainly
wasn't. I believed what was told to me, and passed on what I
learned to those who I recruited or tried to recruit. I feel bad
for doing so, but it wasn't done in dishonesty, just ignorance and
hope that the business I was investing so much in (and I mean much
more than just money) was going to help me achieve all of my
family's dreams. And the rock-solid belief that sharing my
opportunity with others was a "gift".
