[MLM Survivors Club] Anti-Gay Slurs

Hi Bren,

Oh yes, it was incredible. Ron Ball, Dexter's little lackey, would
get up on Friday nights and spew his anti-homosexual rhetoric "we
love you but we hate you if you stay that way" kind of stuff. Then
Dexter himself and his wife, Birdie, would get up and throw out terms
like "queers," "fags," "homos," etc. etc. Then there would be the
wanna be Dexters that would get up there on stage with their five
minutes of fame and spew out their right wing tripe. It was really
disgusting. I know I was not the only one there that was being hurt
by their hate. On one hand they preached love, tolerance, anyone can
do this business if you have a dream, but then with the other side of
their forked tongues they'd say "get right with the higher power or
you'll never be able to do this business" blah, blah, blah...

I was a gullible, stupid, 20 something then and they really had me
believing all that crap. I even thought I'd stay in the business and
show them all that a little homo boy with a dream could even do the
business! But then as time went on, I came to the conclusion,
regrettably, that that would never be allowed, given the right wing
entrenchment of the "leaders." Their claims of loving all and
everyone being equal and that anyone could achieve success in Amway
was a big FALLACY, LIE, whatever you want to call it.
