Welcome!! I'm Deb, and I come with a gentle warning:
I first came here as a very active IBO who was contemplating getting
involved with an AMO (Amway Motivational Organization) to "build our
business". I wanted to see what the "enemy" was saying....LOL! But
as I read story after story about people being lied to, and losing
money and relationships.
problem - and it mainly stemmed from the "teaching" end of the business.
That was back in '97 or '98?? I remained an active, non-AMO IBO until
2005. I understand that some MLMs DO work, when there's not a bunch
of vultures standing around waiting for the next recruit to victimize.
In all those years, I have been welcome to participate on this forum,
and I've met some truly wonderful people.
So, depending on your MLM - be prepared to possibly have your eyes
opened??? Accept that even though you may not operate YOUR business
in the manner described - others might; and it might not be pretty??
On the other hand, if you can learn what drives people away and you
can stop that trend...you probably can build a stable downline.
Best wishes!
Deb
