The real issue that seems to be overlooked in this thread is that
intellectual property rights HAVE to be protected and defended or
they can be legally overturned.
That's why licensing exists... not just to gouge money from
licensees, but to provide documentary, legal proof that the IP owner
isn't turning a blind eye to abuse, which be used in legal argument
to overturn those rights.
