Sometimes you may just have to let it all run its course as it did in my daughter's case. She knew we thought it was hogwash, but still she went ahead, and we held our tongues and never criticized her, but we didn't get all enthused about it either. After she had been in for a couple years, she called me in tears because she was close to losing everything because of the credit card debt she had run up trying to run her "business" and I offered to help her. With one caveat. She had to stop spending money on the business. She agreed and has nearly paid off all the debt the business caused her. She's happy and doing well.
It's a hard lesson to learn sometimes and even so, I've heard stories of some folks who can't seem to let it go even to the point of having to file bankruptcy. I'm grateful that my daughter got wise before she got in any worse than she did.
Paine's right. The more negative you are, they more they can pooh pooh you. It's a hard line to tread between being negative and just trying to bring out facts.
Good luck.
