That's a good question. I haven't rejoined my old mlm and I was supposed renew my membership fee this past March. How I am recovering is by turning that old mess into something positive. I help monitor a yahoo group that helps people sell out their last remaining mlm goods at wholesale so they can recoup some losses. I'm almost out of my old mlm products as well,yippie!
I am also helping my spa clients be more aware of what is an mlm and what to look for and if need be, who to avoid even if it is a business, that is promoting an mlm. I'm trying to promote more public awareness of what an mlm is. They are rampant in small towns still, like mine. I guess small towns maybe the mlm's last strong hold territory, uhg. I can't tell you how many people approached me with an mlm opportunity since I moved here,lol.
Btw, my chiropractor who is selling Isagenex, doesn't sell it to me any more. Apparently, I'm more valuable as a client and not just a prospect, a good thing. If he brings it up, I remind him of the yahoo group and how many people are getting out of mlm's and joining it every day from all over the world.
I know, my husband would like me to forget it all together, but I want to help people avoid what I, we all went thru. It may slow down altogether once I sell out my old mlm products, but I will still help Vicki with the yahoo group. "It's my way of saying, sorry I got into an mlm and dragging some people into it with me, here is away for you all to get rid of that stock."
Only one person signed back up in my downline of only 7 people. I'm still working on her.
My spa biz is picking up and by joining the local Lion's Club, I'm keeping pretty busy helping improve our small town:)
