I first heard about it through, of all places, on pogo.com, an online
game site. I have a Club Pogo account and was playing a game with
group chat. Someone came in and after playing the game for awhile,
tried to recruit people for Mona Vie.
He touted the benefits of the products for several minutes. Not much
response from anyone. He then said people could make $1.4 million a
year peddling the stuff. Someone commented, "Wow, you must be at the
top of the pyramid!" He quickly replied, "It's not a pyramid, it's
network marketing!" I said, "No MLM for me." That shut him up. The
conversation continued on other topics, none of which concerned MLM.
After several minutes of silence from him, he left.
