Re: [MLM Survivors Club] Re: Interesting info from TEAM manual-throw up some red flags why don't you?

Well,
If you want, I would be more than willing to pay for the manual and any shipping cost. I would love to get my hands on it. My friend is always saying that I just don't understand. Well, I can tell her that I have been doing my research and I understand quite a lot. Let me know your price.
And congratulation on finding out the truth about Quixtar. I remember when my friend was trying to get me involved...it was when Quixtar was opening. I was lead to believe that Quixtar had become partners with Microsoft...can you believe that...I was smart enough to realize that something was wrong with that as I knew that Quixtar was originally Amway. I got suckered into going to a couple of functions, but from the very first minute I stepped inside I realized that this was way to similar to what I had left as a Jehovah's Witness. I recognized the mind control techniques immediately and as soon as I got home I began my research...knowing that something was really wrong with this program. I was flabbergasted to realize that my friend was involved in a cult just like I had been...and I still can't get her to realize it. The whole thing is just like what I came from...it is amazing how cults all follow the same regimen even though one may be religious and one commercial.

Let me know what you want for your manual. You can email me at margiejames@cox.net ....

Cheers, Margie

Oh man........ Did I miss some things in the last week. Margie, I
have that same book Jen is talking about. I've read it front to
back. One really starts to think about what they read after reading
other peoples thoughts on the book. I at first didn't give the book
much thought thinking this is what I need to read to be sucessfull
in the business, figuring these were the things I needed to know and
do to make it. Then after doing alot of research on-line and
discovering that Orrin and Chris really got their start in Amway and
realizing that all the crap that they have been preaching is the
same stuff from 20 years ago it really made me angry, upset that I
had gotten myself into such a group.

I was lead to believe that "they" formed this new business by
combining the 3 hottest trends today. You know, internet,
distribution and franchising. What a load of CRAP! Quixtar is just
Amway on the internet. Orrin and Chris didn't form ANYTHING. I was
also lead to believe that Quixtar was "just" our shopping portal,
again another line of deception. It just makes me mad to think
about it. You know what they are saying now? That Orrin Woodward
is the next "Sam Walton" of the internet. Orrin is the one who came
up with this great business model. I was at the last major
convention in March, during the time I was really starting to find
out about TEAM. My wife and I went anyways because 1. we had
already paid for the tickets and 2. we weren't driving. It was just
a small group of us because we were a long distance group from a
team in Wisconsin ( I'm in PA ). It was hard for me to believe how
so many of the people and so called leaders on stage were giving
praise to Orrin stating he is the "Sam Walton" of the internet.
They practically worship this guy. BUT, not once do they ever say
were or how Orrin and Chris got their start. I had to search alot
to find out myself.

The TEAM Handbook is about 3/4" thick and I'd like to help anyone
out who would like to see/read some of it. I'm currently trying to
recoup some of the money we spent on tools, so I'm not ready to give
away any of the books yet. I'm still waiting to hear back from our
local leaders. If that doesn't work, I'm goin to the Platinum in
Wisconsin.
