Well said!
Thanks to both my business and what my Father left behind, I'm doing
much better than I was a few years ago. I want to invest what I have,
but I'm also aware that I don't ever want to work for anyone else ever
again, so I want to make sure what I have will last until after I'm
gone.
Some of the money is already in stocks and investments and producing
income from dividends and such. This money is my freedom, my
independence, my retirement fund. It's what will determine whether I
can live in a home I like when I'm old and feeble or a retirement home
where my valuables walk away whenever my back is turned or an assisted
living facility that I find is a wonderful place to live. If I find
someone I want to marry (and I'm way too picky!), it's what will make
sure my kids have at least enough to help them in college (if not pay
for it) and it's what I would want to take care of my wife if I die
first.
I've worked hard over the past 6 years, was in debt about $23,000
because of startup and other costs, and now can actually buy new
furniture (the debt is gone!). I've worked hard, often day and night,
to earn every single little red cent my business has brought me and for
what I inherited, it's the result of my Father's investments, which he
couldn't have made if it weren't for his hard work to earn a salary.
There is no way on this Earth (or any other planet!) that I will listen
to ANYONE who does NOT have the proper qualifications, whether it be
the lawyers we've worked with on my Father's estate, my cousin the
stock broker who is doing so well with a large financial firm, or
anyone else that will be helping in financial planning.
There is no way I would EVER consider listening to someone who is
pitching a business to me that would include trying to recruit me. If
they consider me good material for recruiting and advising people,
without certifications, then that tells me they are more concerned
about getting their hands on my money than in trying to help me reach
my goals.
All of us work hard for our money. We deserve the best and advice from
ANY MLM is not the best.
