I just came across a book 'SHAM - how the gurus of the self-help
movement make us helpless' by Steve Salerno. It makes for fascinating
reading, especially if you've been in a MLM which uses self-help books
etc. to keep people in. The author doesn't specifically mention MLM
but it ties in very well with the explanation Steve Hassan gives about
the effectiveness of cult-tactics. Hope it's helpful for anyone trying
to make sense of their experiences. Happy reading!
