Trolling means making posts to start arguments or to get on people's
nerves. By posting a LONG list of companies, it seemed like you were
making a point of who was supporting the company. Generally, in terms
of Internet etiquette, or Netiquette, one needs to be considerate and
remember that there are still people who are using dial-up connections.
Aside from connections, there's also the issue of having to scroll or
wade through a lot of unnecessary stuff. In this case, citing the top
5 companies and saying, "And there are 78 more listed" would have
sufficed. Nobody's going to read the full list anyway. (It would also
be considered polite to cut long posts and such from the end of an
email when they're no longer needed as a reference.) I'm not trying to
pick, just to explain.

That could have been done with a lot less. (And a note here: I'd love
to shorten all my posts, but I participate in a number of e-mail lists
daily. I'm also a writer. I'm one of those writers that puts all his
thoughts on paper or in a word processor, then edits. I know my posts
are long and I'd love to shorten them but I type quickly and edit
slowly. If I trimmed my posts, I'd literally spend upwards of 5 hours
a day on e-mail -- already I've had days where I've spent over 3 hours
in a stretch doing nothing but responding to massive amounts of
emails!)

There's an interesting parallel here to make the point. Some might
consider this off topic, but I think it makes the point well. Alfred
Hitchcock, the Master of Suspense, talked about having a "McGuffin" in
his movies. He didn't care what the McGuffin was. His point was it
had to be believable and it had to be something everyone wanted to get.
In "North by Northwest" it was the agent that Cary Grant was mistaken
for at the start of the movie. Note, if you've seen the movie, that
the agent doesn't even exist and is a setup. In "Notorious" it was the
radioactive ore. (Yes, this seems to get more OT, but the point is
coming up.) When the script came in for "Notorious", the producers
said, "But will anyone know what that is? What's it used for?" Hitch
replied it was used in bombs, was important to the war effort
(remember, this is during WWII), and was a realistic item both the Axis
and Allies would want.

It could have been an Enigma code machine (if people knew about them
back then). It could have been anything. Hitch's point was that the
only thing that was necessary was that the characters AND the audience
believed it was important.

Noni, Goji, Xango, freeze-dried urine. Whatever it is, it's their
McGuffin. It doesn't have to exist (like in NbyN). All that is needed
is that the marks believe it exists and that those already duped into
joining believe it exists and is valid. It doesn't matter if it works
at all. So many people believe it works that the truth is immaterial.
They have their McGuffin and their song and dance convinces everyone it
works, whether it does or not.

If that were the case, then a reputable company would come up with a
formulation on their own and you could buy it at ever supermarket and
7/11.

They're not allowed to, but neither are politicians during campaigns.
Guess what? People break rules and laws all the time and unless a cop
sees them, they get away with it.

Yes. When someone is high up, they don't know the people being
recruited and will do whatever they can because each person that comes
in is an income stream for them for a good while. They want you in
because they want your money. They're criminal, and we know criminals
will do whatever they can without getting caught to get your money.
The difference is these criminals don't break and enter. They just lie
through their teeth.

There are a lot of people in holistic fields that have nothing to do
with Noni, Goji, or anything else. They're the ones burning incense
and using tarot cards. You can tell the difference. They're generally
sincere about what they're trying to do and learn even before anyone
gets a chance to brainwash them and, unlike MLM drones, they keep
trying to examine themselves and learn more about themselves.

We're clear on that, but your comments may have helped set the record
straight.
