No, you didn't. Hal writes in an honest and direct manner. Your post
was emotionally over the top.
Hal is very blunt when necessary, but to my recollection has never
been deliberately rude nor posted an ad hominem attack to anyone here.
My online forum management experience goes back to 1994, so I've seen
my share of flame wars, ad hominem attacks, and borderline insult
posts. I know how to recognize them, and how to respond (or not to).
Hal also knows how to read between the lines, and accurately interpret
what an individual is really saying in a message post.
(To everyone reading this, I am NOT one of the moderators here. I
manage a different Yahoo group, and several forums on another online
service.)
